Memory of Spiral Ⅱ for 2 Violas
Memory of Spiral Ⅰis the work for Flute and Violin composed in 1996. The formation for two violas had been prepared for a quite long time. Two violas collaboratively work each other and like double spiral of DNA, intertwine to explore the music. The music is divided in two movements. For the first movements, C string and G string of the second viola are adjusted by semitone flat. This work is world premiered in the exhibition held in June last year. This is the revised version with added interlude.
