Dear Composer,

 

 I am delighted to announce the first edition of the Moliner International Percussion Composition Award (MIPCA) 2026, a new initiative founded by David Moliner to support composers.

MIPCA was born from a clear vision: to create an artistically meaningful platform to support composers who have written for percussion (solo / chamber / orchestra) in the last three years.

While the main prize of 1,000 will honor one selected work, what truly sets MIPCA apart is that every selected composer receives 9 guaranteed professional rewards, ensuring each work gains tangible artistic and professional value.

 

Each Prized Composer Receives:

  1. Focused Critical Score Analysisa detailed written assessment by David Moliner.
  2. Manager & Publisher Recommendationsyour work shared with international industry professionals (agents of concert halls, conductors, managers of some respected agencies) for potential promotion.
  3. Institutional Analysis & Visibilityselected works presented at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock, where David Moliner will serve as a guest composition professor in the 2025/2026 season.
