IMAMURA Hisako

She graduated from the composition department of Tokyo University of the Arts and completed the solfege department of the same graduate school. She graduated from the Paris National Conservatory of Music, Department of Ecriture and Piano Accompaniment.
After she returned to Japan, she worked extensively as a composer and pianist.
Her recent works include 2016 "Élégie" pour violon, violoncelle et piano, 2018 "Hop Step Jump!" For Percussion Quartet. She is also active in writing, and her recent books include "Musical Note & Rhythm Work" (co-authored by Meiji Tosho Publishing) and "Sonata Album 1 New Edition" (Ongaku no Tomosha).

She is currently a professor at Kunitachi College of Music, a lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts, a director of the Japan Solfege Research Council, and a JFC member.
