Marcos PÉREZ MIRANDA(Clarinet)

Born in Tenerife, Spain. After studying at his hometown Conservatory, he graduated from the Royal College of Music, Basel Conservatory.
He won the the highest award in 2001 at the Juventudes Musicales de España. In 2006 he received a scholarship from the Yamaha Music Foundation in Europe. Finalist of the 2008 Munich International Music Competition.
He studied clarinet under François Benda, Richard Hosford and Marikel Collins, and bass clarinet under Michael Harris.
After working as a deputy principal player for the Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchestra and the Welmland Opera Orchestra (Sweden), he has been active as a clarinet deputy principal and bass clarinet for the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra since 2013.
